The UK Foundation of the University of British Columbia was established to build upon the strengths of the historical and present-day links between the UK and Canada.
The objectives of the Foundation are to advance and promote education and research and other charitable purposes connected with The University of British Columbia and its students. The Foundation is a registered charity with the Charity Commission.
Making A Gift
Donations to the UK Foundation of UBC may be made via cheque payable (from a UK bank only) to the UK Foundation of The University of British Columbia. Donations can be sent to the foundation’s mailing address per below. In order for us to comply with privacy requirements and appropriate legislation, please ensure you have read our privacy policy and include written consent for collection and use of data and information, as specified below, with your donation. A letter of acknowledgement will be issued by the foundation, as appropriate, for the gift. Please note the foundation is unable to receive donations by credit card.
Gift Aid: UK tax payers can also complete a Gift Aid Form (PDF) to allow the UK Foundation to claim the gift aid on the donation.

By making a donation to the UK Foundation of the University of British Columbia, your personal information is collected by the UK Foundation of University of British Columbia (‘the Foundation’) for the purpose of processing donor gifts, maintaining contact with donors, volunteers, and others involved with the Foundation or the University of British Columbia (‘UBC’) and for other purposes as may be required to provide benefits and services to UBC’s donors and alumni. It is also being shared with UBC and alumni UBC under the authority of section 26(c) of the British Columbia Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
The Foundation, UBC and alumni UBC may also use your contact information to update donor and alumni mailing lists, which are used by both alumni UBC and UBC to keep donors and alumni informed about University news, events and initiatives, including fundraising.
